The Good Society - When Local Forces Unite for Good!

For several years, I have been involved as a photographer for the magazine "Gilla Stallarholmen." It's amazing to embark on photo assignments around Stallarholmen and Selaön. The personal encounters, the stunningly beautiful environment, and the organizations - meeting with passionate individuals who all contribute to making the area in and around Stallarholmen a fantastic place.

For example, accompanying the newspaper delivery person on an early morning round, when the morning mist blankets the nature and the sun just begins to rise over the horizon, was like balm for the soul. Visiting the beautiful baroque castle, Mälsåkers Slott, meeting with the Red Cross where a group of elderly women knitted and crocheted beautiful items, interacting with the youth at the air rifle club, the Viking group, taking a boat tour around Selaön, riding Icelandic horses, meeting the soccer team, car enthusiasts... the list of fantastic activities and places can go on.

My photo exhibition at Gula Industrihuset is a collection of photographs from my photo assignments - a way to say thank you to all the amazing people I have encountered, each one contributing to making the whole greater.
